FIRST Zero Waste Festival - 2023 Hope Spot Festival

The 2023 Hope Spot Festival was the first Renüable Certified Zero Waste Festival in all of western Florida!  Thanks to coordinated effort of vendors, students guides from University of Tampa Roots and Shoots club, Suncoast Composting by Renüable, the City of Dunedin,  Auburn Supply, our sponsor KnowBe4, attendees and Blue-Green Connections, we were able to upcycle over 97% of the festival's waste.

Our Sponsors & Supporters

This is just the beginning!  Collaboration with supporting organizations and research institutions will continue to grow.  We are fortunate to have a long list of supporters for the Florida Gulf Coast Hope Spot, many of whom are already involved in conservation, restoration, and education activities.  Blue-Green Connections will coordinate brainstorming and information sharing sessions and facilitate the implementation of similar activities up and down the Florida Gulf Coast.  Many thanks to all of these supporters!
